In 2014, our scientific team here at The Best Bees Company wanted to expand our research impact and community – we had all this data on bee health, and we wanted to do more. From this desire, the Urban Beekeeping Laboratory was born.
The Urban Bee Lab, or UBL, is Best Bees’ affiliated 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The UBL uses our data to:
🌱 Elucidate trends and patterns in pollinator health
🌱 Analyze biodiversity conditions of various ecosystems
🌱 Collaborate with the broader scientific and beekeeping communities
🌱 Share our learnings with the public
