NASA Partnership May 2017

Sean asked if Best Bees had a project idea that they could collaborate with us on. We did! The project was looking at maps for where our beehives were, and trying to overlay data from satellites (land use, weather, elevation, ‘greenness’,) to find out what factors were most associated with improved bee health. The ultimate product was an algorithm that integrated our bee health data with the satellite data to help beekeepers figure out where to best place beehives for healthy bees!
