Project Coordinator

The Best Bees Company is seeking a Project Coordinator in the Boston metro area!

We are a full-service beekeeping operation headquartered in Boston. We deliver, install, and manage beehives for residences and businesses nationwide. Our beekeepers collect data at each beehive visit that is shared and analyzed with research institutions to further our mission to improve bee health.

Additionally, we offer our clients a host of engaging add-ons to compliment their beekeeping services. These include custom beehive equipment, co-branded honey labels, educational events, and more!

We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Product Fulfillment team to oversee and manage the production of these products.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

Our ideal candidate is a highly organized, clear communicator who has a passion for spreadsheets. We’re looking for a team player who is ready to roll up their sleeves and solve problems creatively. This is an excellent opportunity for a budding project manager who is looking to advance their career at a dynamic, mission-driven company. The Project Coordinator will work closely with our Account Managers and report to the Creative Director.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop timelines for product fulfillment based on resource availability and client expectations
  • Manage multiple projects with set timelines by communicating and collaborating with internal fulfillment team
  • Collaborate with Account Manager to set and adjust client expectations
  • Work alongside Creative Director to identify the resources needed to successfully complete a project
  • Update project roadmaps when schedules shift or new projects are initiated
  • Assign tasks and communicate expected deliverables with a small team 
EXAMPLES OF DAILY TASKS
  • Coordinate the day to day activities in order to ensure project deliverables and deadlines are achieved
  • Lead weekly status meetings with product fulfillment team
  • Conduct biweekly prioritization meetings with Creative Director and Account Management team 
  • Keep project management and planning tools accurate and up to date
  • Keep key team members up to date on project process and fulfillment status
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Extremely organized and exhibit a high degree of attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • 2 years’ of experience in an administrative support role and/or projects-related role
Education

Bachelor's Degree in a business management or related field

Location

This position is on-site. Candidates should be local to the Boston Metro area and will be expected to commute to our Boston office full-time for their first year.
