Account Manager

 

Our team is made up of dedicated environmentalists working to support scientific research in honeybee colonies on buildings and in backyards across the United States. Account Managers at Best Bees act as our corporate client advocates and work closely with our Product Fulfillment team to ensure that services and orders are understood and delivered to the client’s satisfaction. They work alongside the Field Operations team to coordinate the successful delivery of Best Bees’ unique offerings for corporate accounts.

 

This position is responsible for:

  • Overseeing the onboarding process of new corporate accounts including initial kick-off meetings with property management teams & leadership. 
  • Helping property management teams ensure the successful integration of beehives on a property by providing resources and assisting in answering tenant questions. 
  • Nurturing existing corporate accounts through exceptional customer service and creative problem-solving with the support of the Sales and Operations teams. 
  • Identifying when accounts are interested in expansion and working with Business Developers to ensure a seamless handoff process.
  • Helping to coordinate the annual contract renewal process for our corporate clients, supporting new marketing initiatives, and working closely with the Client Services team.
  • Working with the Products and Events fulfillment team to ensure that each contract is fully executed including any supplemental orders or events, reviewing the client experience, and providing suggestions for improvement. 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in sales, communications, or a related field
  • 1-2 years in client-facing account management, contract fulfillment, or client services role
  • Proven ability to nurture and grow client relationships over time; familiarity with the contracting process and property manager/vendor relationships
  • Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills, commitment to customer service
  • Passionate about protecting pollinators and able to speak about their importance, ready to learn about honeybees and advocate for the Best Bees Mission
  • Ability to work independently, resilient attitude, and proven problem-solving skills.
