For the first time ever, The Best Bees Company is opening up 15 years of pollinator expertise, field experience, and research into a public online learning experience.

The Best Bees Learning Series is designed to turn curiosity into action—giving more people the knowledge and tools to support pollinators in their own communities.

About the Course

Intro to Pollinators & Biodiversity

Pollinators support nearly every ecosystem around us, yet most people were never taught how they work, why they matter, or what they can do to help.

We built this course to change that.

Created by The Best Bees Company, Intro to Pollinators & Biodiversity is a beginner-friendly online course designed to make the world of bees, pollinators, and biodiversity approachable, practical, and deeply engaging.

Through interactive lessons, real-world examples, and actionable takeaways, you’ll gain a foundational understanding of how pollinators shape our environment — and how small actions can create meaningful ecological impact.

Why Learn from Best Bees?

For over 15 years, The Best Bees Company has been at the forefront of urban beekeeping, pollinator education, and biodiversity research across the United States.

What began as a mission to improve bee health has grown into one of the country’s leading pollinator organizations — managing thousands of hives, supporting research initiatives, partnering with major organizations, and helping connect people more deeply to the ecosystems around them.

This course is built from real field experience, scientific research, and thousands of hours spent working directly with bees, habitats, and communities.

Unlike generic online content, this course combines:

  • Real-world pollinator expertise
  • Science-backed education
  • Practical actions anyone can take
  • A hopeful, solutions-oriented approach to biodiversity

We believe pollinator education should be accessible, inspiring, and rooted in genuine ecological impact — and this course was designed to do exactly that.
