What is HoneyDNA™?
Honey bees travel three to five miles as they forage—pollinating and collecting pollen from hundreds of plant species across the surrounding landscape. That pollen is preserved in honey.
Using environmental DNA (eDNA) metabarcoding, HoneyDNA™ analyzes the genetic material within a honey sample to identify the plant species visited by your bees, along with their relative abundance.
The result? Hyper-local biodiversity insight that creates resilient ecosystems and restores pollinator populations.
