A milestone moment as the company scales its impact and leads a new era in biodiversity innovation
[Boston, MA, May 21, 2025] – The Best Bees Company is proud to announce the appointment of Delaney Dameron as Chief Executive Officer, marking a pivotal milestone in the company’s evolution. Recognized by Inc. Magazine’s Fastest Growing Companies, Best Bees has experienced meaningful growth over the past five years. With demand for biodiversity services accelerating across the United States, this transition positions the company to drive revenue with greater focus and operational excellence.
Delaney joined Best Bees in 2022, bringing with her a decade of digital marketing experience across diverse industries. Initially hired as Marketing Manager, she made an immediate impact—building scalable project management systems, aligning cross-functional goals, and refining the product development pipeline. Her data-driven approach led to a dramatic increase in web traffic and organic reach, establishing a stronger foundation for brand visibility and long-term growth.
As Director of Revenue, Delaney expanded her influence across the company’s financial and operational strategy. She played a key role in developing a financial roadmap toward high-revenue growth and increased profitability, and she successfully led a $2M capital raise. Internally, she implemented department-wide budget systems and standardized KPIs, creating new clarity around performance and areas for optimization.
“Under Delaney’s leadership, we’re doubling down on our mission to improve bee health, while expanding our scope to support broader biodiversity,” says Sean Cahill, Chief Operating Officer and Board member. “We’re building on our foundational beekeeping services to deliver a deeper ecological impact. Our vision is bold: to help cities transform from grey to green, one rooftop at a time. With this transition, we honor our roots while preparing for the next chapter of growth.”
This transition also marks an exciting evolution for Best Bees’ founder, Noah Wilson-Rich, Ph.D, who has been working with Delaney on CEO succession planning since her early days at Best Bees.
In this next phase, Noah will dedicate his focus to scientific research and innovation, working with a variety of long-standing partners around the world. While stepping away from day-to-day leadership, Noah remains a proud champion of the company as its Founder, Board Member, lead shareholder, and supporter of its mission and continued growth.
With this leadership transition, Best Bees enters a new phase of growth, strengthened by operational strategy and guided by a continued commitment to ecological impact. As the company evolves, its focus remains on advancing biodiversity through nature-based solutions that bring measurable value to both ecosystems and the built environment.
